Gravina Siding & Windows Company was established in 1988. Larry Gravina has over 35 years experience. Other family members, sales and office staff each have 10-20 years experience. Gravina’s is into their third generation operating the business.

Do you give free estimates?
Yes. Gravina’s has friendly representatives who meet in-home or at the showroom. Please request in-home appointments 24-48 hours in advance. Showroom appointments aren’t necessary but are helpful. Do you stock windows?
Gravina’s offer a small selection of non-standard sizes listed in the Clearance section. All Clearance windows are sold “as-is”; no returns, exchanges, or refunds. Gravina’s can custom build in 2-4 weeks for do-it-yourself projects – exact sizes required for ordering. Consult a salesperson for further details.

How long does it take before my windows are installed?
Once your order is placed, lead time is 4-8 weeks for installation. Orders are first come- first serve. Typically late summer and fall have longer wait times.

Are all replacement windows the same?
No. Windows vary in construction and materials. Each window differs in quality, frames, glass, components, and warranty. Gravina’s offers a spectrum of replacement windows to meet specific needs including top of the line, middle of the road, and budget friendly. What forms of payments do you accept?
Gravina’s accepts Cash, Check, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover or Financing through Wells Fargo. Arrange financing prior to install. Payment may be given to the install crew. Consult a representative for details.

What causes condensation? (Moisture on Windows)
Condensation occurs when warm moist air comes into contact with cool surfaces. This type of condensation appears when the dew point is higher than the temperature of the glass. Reference the condensation page for further information.

How do I clean my new windows?
Clean glass with glass cleaner or soapy water using soft cloths or paper towels. To remove stickers Gravina’s recommends soaking the sticker for with glass cleaner or soapy water - let it sit for a few minutes. Using a flat razorblade slowly scrape the sticker off your window being careful not to scratch the glass. Wipe area thoroughly with glass cleaner or soapy water. Clean until dry. Clean maintenance-free frame using mild detergent or soapy water using a soft cloth or paper towel, careful not to scratch the finish. Wipe area of residue.

How do I complete my warranty?
Upon completion Gravina’s will complete your paperwork and mail it to you within 7-10 business days. Consult specific manufacture’s notes if further action is required.

What are ENERGY STAR® rated windows?
ENERGY STAR is a joint program coordinated by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy to help homeowners save money and protect the environment through the use of energy efficiency products and practices. Can I paint vinyl windows?
No. It will void the manufactures warranty. Wood, Aluminum, and Fiberglass frames are paintable but refer to manufacture specific instructions. Gravina’s offers all prior options. Consult a representative for further details.

Do you damage my house by during installation?
No. Gravina uses qualified installers on your job. The installers have several years experience tearing out windows in existing homes. Gravina’s custom builds all windows to ensure the best installation. In rare incidences you may have existing damage along your jambs, wood, trim, etc. During the final measure Gravina’s will denote existing damage when visible and make you aware. Touch up paint or repair may be required by customer.

Do my window sills remain?
Yes. You can choose to keep your window sills. Gravina’s offers options to replace sills if necessary or interested. Consult a representative for further details.

Is Gravina’s licensed, bonded, and insured?
Yes.

How much will I see on my energy bill?
